we took a mini road to this past weekend to beautiful santa barbara! the weather was perfect, traffic was perfect, and the fact i was spending the weekend with my two favorite boys... can you say PERFECT!!!

we started off our little tour on foot. this place is beautiful. in a weird way i felt as if i was on disneys small world ride non stop!

i hesitated in ordering a danish hot dog...
when i saw it, i thought, ewww. but let me tell you this hot dog was amazing! |

so our walk continued and got bad when the dude saw the horses.
after that he was barking up a storm... we should have left the kid at home... |

we pretty much were done with solvang. we drove around a bit just to see what the neighborhood looked like. next thing you know we see a sign for ostrich land... we had to bust a U and see for our selves.
