obsessed with Showtime

yes i am seriously obsessed with showtime. every show seems to be amazing. i cant seem to get enough. i'll even re-watch old episodes and act all surprised and scream at the tv. ahhhhh nurse jackie, weeds, californication, the big c, united states of tara.... ahhhhhhh love, love, love!!! i tried getting on to dexter. but there was way too much blood for me.

weeds comes back june 27. have you seen the tease trailer? when i saw it i screamed!!!!! cant believe its been almost a year since last season. why showtime, why do you do this to us???? now i know how it is to be one of them older ladies with their soap operas.

i havent tried watching the borgias. i dunno i never cared for movies in that time period. maybe one day when im super bored i'll on demand the first episode and see how it goes from there...

Pasadena Doo Dahh Parade

Since i can remember i have always wanted to attend the Doo Dahh Parade. i would see some footage on the news and would see all these hilarious costumes. its like halloween in April. even one year we literally got there right when it finished. we had no idea the parade was happening that day. So this year i am putting my foot down and attending.

Clumsy Luz

So i accidently punched myself in the eye last night. yup, i did it myself. i was pulling my blanket to cover my face, but my dog was on top of it so i couldn't get it to move. so on my last tug at it my finger slipped and POW!!! there goes my left eye. the pain was horrible. that got me thinking on how clumsy i am. what about the time luz stepped out of a car and didnt realize a pitch fork was on the floor and WHAM!!! yes i heard the lil birds. and a tip to all of you out there, if you ever get fast food with me. dont let me carry the sodas. you have been warned!

i think every one has a story of me being clumsy.

romance anyone?

So this weekend i watched nothing but romance movies and tons of shows based on the upcoming royal wedding. (yes i was missing my special some one.) i seriously didnt know much about this wedding but when i found out that prince william gave kate his mothers engagement ring, ahhhhhh it touched my heart so much. why cant romantic things happen to me? like when i watch a movie and the guy does something super adorable..."why cant that happen to me?" hahahahaha!

am i going through a quarter-life crisis?

been feeling a bit "dauncey." and through this magical thing called google i found this article. Hmmm can this be me?

Walk For Lupus Now- Team Nancy

So i decided this year i will join the walk for lupus now. i know many ppl who suffer from this, even my mom. we will dedicate this walk for nancy!!!!

was it bad that i wanted to name the team nancy, chu laycee? ohh well team nancy it is. ppl usually think my moms real name is nancy. but its not. at one point through my moms treatments her hair fell out. and as it grew back she had this lil short hair do. and i setted her hair one day for her bday, gave her a mani, did her make up and she looked like nancy reagan! the name stuck! hahahahahaha! well if there are any of you out there that can donate at least $20.00 to sponsor our walk we will really appreciate it.

90 seconds to jupiter

so i joined my niece Julissa for a concert, 30 seconds to mars. i dont know their music, besides the one song on the radio. so what did i think...? i really enjoyed seeing the gals rip off jared's shirt! thats it. im not a fan of their music. i didnt leave saying ohhh man gotta buy the cd. they teased me when the started playing fascination street by the cure. but they were just killing time while jared brought ppl up on stage. boooo! so on the scale of 1-5... i give them a 2 cuz i didnt fall asleep. but it was nice to see shoooels having a great time.

I love love love this stuff! 

Let me start by telling you that I am a Plain Jane. I have curly frizzy hair and don’t know what to do with it. The only time I “do” my hair is when I pay to get it cut & styled. When my hair is long enough I spray some anti-frizz on it and pull it into a ponytail. Now that it’s short I grab it with hair clips, so it’s never really loose.

I started using these products and it’s totally worth taking the extra time to use them. You would think 4 hair products would leave your hair sticky, greasy or hard, but it doesn’t at all. My hair smells great, it’s soft to touch and no frizz. I now wear my hair loose all the time.
