So yesterday i made a stop at the beauty supply and as i was checking out the clerk asked if i would be interested in buying portable speakers for $1.50. i was like huh? speakers at a beauty supply? turns out Paul Mitchell produced eco friendly speakers. they are are made out of 70% post consumer recycled materials. they pop out and fold into actual speakers. so i was like sure let me have 2, why not try them out. so i get home assemble them and i came to realize theres 2 speakers per case. and you know what they are not bad for a $1.50. imma use mine for my beach trips this summer. also i can see these being perfect for the office. so i googled these speakers. they actually are going for about $10 on line (i forgot i get wholesale prices at my beauty supply) so i decided why not give them away on my blog.

i feel that this is a topic many women can relate to. there is nothing worse than having a boyfriend as a major laker fan. and i think i might have the worst end of it all.

so as many know im dating a comedian... but whats worse is dating a comedian who is a huge laker fan. at that i am home alone many nights as he goes out to shows, but when the season starts thats it... luz does not exist. do any of you ladies feel the same?

we have had many arguments when it comes to the games... to your being too loud, to i wanna watch my showtime!! (we only had one tv at the time) ugh and believe me some of them got nasty! nothing comes between me and my showtime!!!

growing up my brother was a huge fan so i always occasionally watched the games. but now, i watch em all. i think i have  become a bigger fan, to the point i actually have shirts, and have gone to the games. to the point where i bitch cuz i really want this shirt.

in the past 3 years i noticed the laker obsession becoming more serious when he got the lakers logo on his wrist. (dear jesus!!!) from the collection of t-shirts to the panic attack he had when our dog chewed up his favorite laker hat (which he still wears even though its all fucked up. is that dedication???) the obsession spreaded onto the living room when he found this kobe portrait mixed in with lil wayne... two of his favorites in one... but what makes things worse... last year i decided to have a lakers christmas tree... yes it was my idea!!! i think he brain washed me!

so fathers day was fun this year. i put together (last minute) a lil bbq at my moms. followed by some karaoke. good times.

yes we nicknamed one of my favorite restaurants sasasasasa! San sui tei is located on first street in the historic little tokyo- downtown los angeles. As you walk in they say their traditional welcome "irasshaimase!" we go so often that the main waiter , femmi, recognizes us and usually says "ohhh your back." now, many people on yelp have complained about the service here. but what more do you expect from an independent, family owned restaurant. there is usally 2 female cooks. and femmi. usually on weekends they will have a bus boy and an extra cook at hand. femmi memorizes your order!!! no pen n paper needed! yes they are slow at bringing your bill but i think the food is worth the wait!

ahh when snl was good...

so i brought up the topic on twitter (lovelucyblog) brazilian waxing, painful? i had mixed reviews. one girl mentioned how it was the most painful experience, and she has a high tolerance for pain. others suggested it makes a huge difference on who does it. and how their experience wasn't that bad.

personally i have not tried it... im skurd! ive done the common waking, legs, arms, mustache, eyebrows, and nostrils. yes nostrils!

i used to work at this one salon where their main service was waxing. the lady was super good at eye brows. so one day i  asked if you get a chance can you shape my brows. and she was like, sure lets do them now before my next  client comes in. so i sit down on the bed... shes applying the wax to my brows and yanking the strips off. and shes just chit chatting distracting me, next thing you know shes saying "take a deep breath and hold it..." "wait why are you sticking that in my nose???!!!!" YANK!!! not so bad, theres nothing like a nice hairless nostril! hahahaha! then she continued to say, "you should be a model for the brazilian wax..." shoot bitch is on crack!!! i ran out! hahahaha!
