mom what are you trying to say!!!

the envelope my mom used to give me my birthday shopping money :(

a toast/roast for my sisters wedding

Hello every one, my name is Luz, im the maid of honor and rosa’s way better looking sister. I would like to thank every one for coming out… friend’s, family and those who are only here for the boofay!!! And a special thanks to rosa for choosing me as your maid of honor. I knew one day you would punish me for all the bad things I did to you growing up.
I tried getting the story on how they met from rosa but she didn’t want to tell me. So I asked Jose and he said that they met at work.  Apparently she invited him to hang out with her and her friends, which is a big lie because every one knows she doest have any!
Then a few months went by, and they announced their engagement. That’s when I said to myself “ I thought he was a citizen already?”
I can’t wait for the babies to come along… Buddy Jr, Mr. Cat the second even if you guys go with a lizard, ill volunteer to baby-sit.
I really think you two will make it. I can picture the two of you growing old together laying on your lazy boys, watching the Giants loose on Sunday, And arguing on what time the jersey shore rerun will air.
Please join me in a toast to the bride and groom, may you know nothing but happiness this day forward…

Moloztov!!!

ive been applying a lil cocktail mix to my hair for the past few months and ohh maaa gaaa!! ive noticed a huge difference. i passed the secret over to kimmy and she agreed, its wonderful.

so now im sharing with you.

mixing these 3 products creates nothing but smoothness!!! it eliminates all the frizz and keeps my hair smooth for days! if im running late for work i apply this miricle cocktail after i shampoo, comb out, drizzle a lil hair spray and im set for the day. i love tigi, its my fav product line out there. they smell amazing, even their hair color makes you wanna take a bite. heres my fav hair spray i would not trade for anything!!!

im trying to come up with a lil contest to give out some of my favorite hair products. keep checking my blog for details!

dating a comedian... no fanny!

i've been dating a comedian for almost 7 years. it's not as fun as most people think. when people find out he does stand up, it's always the same question, "is he funny?" and i always answer, "no."

dating a comedian es no fanny! its actually very lonely. i'm usually home alone at nights while hes out at open mic. so since he stays up late, he's usually too tired to do anything the next day. since we've been dating i grew accustomed to do many things on my own. things like shopping, movies, restaurants, weekend getaways, theme parks etc. you get the picture. but i guess its just something you have to get used to when you date a comedian.

at first i enjoyed going to see his sets. but it can honestly take a toll on you. trust! ive seen so many different comedians over and over that it stops being funny. but if its some one i have never seen, ahhhhh, i get excited cuz i might actually laugh. but unfortunately i stopped getting invites to the shows since he caught me asleep at the jon lovits comedy club. what? it was a horrible show!

i wouldn't recommend dating a stand up comedian. ive met tons of his comedy buddies and they all seem to be the same. they are the most depressed and unhappy people who hate all other comics. ive seem him go through these phases where he seems depressed because he cant think of a new punch line or is so upset that another comedian made it with his hack jokes. he has this white board in the living room where he jots down ideas and weird shit that i don't even understand. can you say decor eye sore??? people who visit notice it and are usually like what the fuck? i usually respond with "i don't know??"

i can actually remember the first time time i saw his set on stage. it was at the comedy store in hollywood. we weren't actually in great speaking terms at that moment, so i was surprised he even invited me. my friend eric went with me, and ohh man was it bad, hahaha its funny now. half way through his set, eric leans over and says to me, "good thing you guys are together any more." hahahahaha he has improved dramatically, but now in days,  if i go to a show, im usually busy looking at how his jacket collar isn't flapped down right to even pay attention to what he's saying. does this make me a horrible girl friend? i wonder how another comedian girls friends are???

so my advice to women out there in the dating scene, if you come across a comedian, one thing you will need is patience, a great sense of humor and always remember there is no such thing as a happy comedian.

my sunshine, my stinky, my best friend. love you.

my dad the beaner...

one evening my whole family got together for my moms bday dinner. some how we ended up at olive garden... Mmmmm olive garden! so the waiter came around to take our drink orders. we asked my dad what do you want to drink? he says "horchata," "pa they dont have that here." so we just ordered him a coke. since my dad had never been to olive garden, we helped him look at the menu. he complained he had no idea what the food was... and next thing you know the waiter is ready to take his dinner order. and what does my dad say? yo quiero arroz y frijoles. "pa they dont have that here" i said. aye pues no quiero nada! hahahaha this man is so mexican he wont even try italian food! we ordered him the mixed grill which is these huge meat skewers with veggies. and ohh man did he end up licking the plate. i wonder what he would say today if i suggest olive garden for dinner? hahahahaha

*sorry if i spelled the spanish words wrong.
