For the holiday weekend we headed out to the sequoia national forest. our first stop was camping at kern river. the drive up was beautiful. the road is right next tot he river. beautiful! it didnt get scary until we went off road. for those who dont know... i get car sick and motion sickness... ohh man was i shitting my pants. the road was so small and bumpy.the fact that we were carrying a camper didnt make me feel any better. mark was in a truck behind us, and apparently he was screaming "they are gonna flip over!!!! they are gonna die!!!!" hahahhahah i could only imagine him... nice to know he was worried about us. but we finally made it down and it was time to set camp. we slept in a tent, hit the sack at 930... i woke up feeling i slept for days... and when i checked my watch it was only 1130!!! hahahahhahaha! and at about midnight the cold and rain came in and ruined the whole trip. we left to the lake because we feared of getting mud in. made it to lake isabella. it was still chilly but the sun was coming out. i was fisihing for the first time in my life. i was having fun but then it seemed like the rain followed us to the lake :( boooo so we called it a day, packed up and head home... i definitely wanna come back in the summer! check out some of the pictures below.
